    Marizi Martinez

    Vocal Coach
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and raised in Carolina, Marizí Martínez discovered her love for music at eight, inspired by her siblings’ singing. After losing her father at 15, she turned to music for solace, teaching herself guitar and piano while composing her own songs.

Marizí honed her craft at Puerto Rico’s Escuela Libre de Música, where she studied music theory, piano, guitar, choral singing, and jazz. She performed with the Puerto Rico Symphonic Choir in Carmina Burana at the Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce and starred in Miss Saigon with the Taller de Teatro Lírico. Under the mentorship of renowned vocal coach Hilda Ramos, Marizí’s dedication earned her the Festival de la Voz title, representing Río Piedras across the island.

In 2010, Marizí moved to the U.S. to pursue secular music, training countless singers over 14 years, including festival winners and participants in Panama’s Soundhits. During the pandemic, her calling shifted as ministries worldwide sought her online vocal coaching. She transformed worship teams, equipping them to serve with excellence, including building a full team for a New Jersey church in just months.

In 2017, Marizí experienced a profound encounter with God, inspiring her debut Christian single, Tu Amor es Grande, which won “Revelation of the Year” at the 2022 Premios Redención. Her 2023 release, Espíritu Santo Consolador, was born from a 2020 Pentecost encounter and dedicated to the Holy Spirit.

Marizí continues to glorify God through music, equipping worshippers and inspiring others with her journey of faith, resilience, and divine purpose.
